Dr. Kyla A. Beguesse

Dr. Kyla A. Beguesse MS, DVM, DACVP is a 2003 Sam Houston State University alumni. She received a Master’s degree in Small Ruminant Nutrition and a D.V.M. degree from Tuskegee University. She completed advanced training in Anatomic Pathology as an intern at Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine and resident at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a Zoological Pathology Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin – Madison and Milwaukee County Zoo. Dr. Beguesse joined Hong Kong Veterinary Diagnostic Centre in 2017 as an anatomic pathologist with a strong interest in zoological, and bone and cartilage pathology. Dr. Beguesse is an active member of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP). She is currently cultivating her interests in wildlife forensics and paleopathology via focused training at North Carolina State University and the NCSU Forensic Analysis Lab.
