Dr. Ramesh C. Kovi

Dr. Ramesh C. Kovi received his B.V.Sc & A.H (DVM equivalent) from University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, India, his M.V.Sc in Veterinary Microbiology, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, India, and his PhD in Cancer Biology from University of Massachusetts Medical School, Worcester, MA, USA. Dr. Kovi was certified as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists in 2012 after completing a residency in Anatomic Pathology in the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Minnesota. He is currently working as a veterinary pathologist/Assistant Professor at University of Minnesota Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory and a comparative pathologist at Comparative Pathology Shared Resource, a core laboratory for the University of Minnesota Masonic Cancer Center.His areas of interest include cancer biology, diagnostic pathology and toxicologic pathology. He is an active member of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP), American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians (AAVLD), Society of Toxicologic Pathologists (STP) and American Association for Cancer Research (AACR).
